Located in the seaside of Şarköy, this renovation project tends to transform and design a small degraded house into a comfortable holiday house by the beautiful beach, accommodating up to 6 people. The house was built in the 1990s as part of a small neighborhood with double houses, mainly built for summer holiday purposes. Although it has been used regularly every year, it's condition was highly weak in terms of maintenance, use and functional organisation.

With high consideration for the very delicate building structure, the new design foresees a set of processes starting with partial demolition of walls and windows; intervention processes like addition, replacement and improvement; new zoning and spatial composition of basic functions of resting, dining and sleeping; new flooring in the interior and garden areas. Some of the most significant interventions are: replacement of all doors and windows, addition of a new entrance that faces the road directly, and addition of a winter-garten which will serve as a micro-climate feature to control temperature during summer and winter seasons. In terms of spatial composition, the new design provides many areas for different activities, areas for reading, dining, sleeping, resting and outdoor areas with views towards the beach.
