Located in an urban neigborhood in Skopje, House Mucha is a 210m2 housing design project for a family up to 7 people. The new building has a basement, two full floors and a half floor under the roof. In terms of functional composition, the house contains one bedroom on the ground floor, and three other bedrooms on the first floor, one of which is a master bedroom with a separate wardrobe and bathroom. Living room and kitchen areas are quite spatious, having fantastic views towards the back garden, with a large terrace and a small pool.
On the other hand, there is a gallery space in the living room and a loft space at the stairs. Both create beautiful views, haptic and comfortable atmospheres for a typical family-home in an urban neighborhood. Following a sustainable design, the building structure consists of massive reinforced concrete for the building foundation and the basement, the prefabricated laminated timber technology for the other floors above ground, large glazings for proper natural lighting, and a spatious spaces in the roof to accomodate installation of various solar power and water management systems.
